was originally called midnight playing to Houston.

Songwriter Jim Weatherly got the idea

after hearing his friend Lee Majors on the phone with his girlfriend

Farrah Fawcett who said she was taking the midnight plane to Houston to go visit her parents.

Producers loved it and wanted to give the song to Sissy Houston but asked whether or

lead to change the location because of Houston's last name. All right we're going to
