Hello everyone and welcome to another edition of Mormon Stories Podcast. I'm your host

Sean Delinn. This is a late-breaking news special edition of Mormon Stories

Podcast. I've just been made aware that the Chad Daybell verdict is in.

For those of you who have been following Mormon Stories Podcasts closely, you will know that we've been covering the Chad

Daybell and Lori Valo trials for a couple of years now. Chad Daybell and Lori Valle of course were two are two Mormons or members of the Church of

Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who have been charged with murder.

Of course, Chad has been a suspect

and has been charged with the murder of his wife Tammy.

And of course, also Lori Valo has two children that apparently allegedly were

murdered along with her brother who died and an ex-husband who died and it's basically just a trail of unaliving that has

been gripping the Mormon internet world and just the broader true crime world for years now.

This has a Mormon angle as many of you know not only because Chad and Lori were both

devout committed Mormons, but also because a lot of their

justifications for all their behaviors prior to these murders had to deal with their Mormon

beliefs, their beliefs in spirits, their beliefs in the Second Coming of Jesus,

their beliefs in an afterlife, their beliefs in revelation, their beliefs in, you know,

evil spirits and the ability to cast out evil spirits and the like. So we've been covering this for a while. The trial with

Chad has been going on for several weeks now. We've had you know we've done some collaborations with Meigan Connor, who is the

cousin of Lori Valo. And we've also done collaborations with Lauren Mathias Johnson,

who is one of the co-heads of Hidden True Crime Podcast.
