The Iowa State men's basketball roster is fully intact

as freshmen forward from Germany. Dominica's plata is on campus and dunking at Hilton Coliseum.

Plata had been approved for his visa weeks ago, but due to delays, he wasn't able to pick it up and was stuck in Germany, missed the

first about week and a half of summer workouts, but no worries. Plata, along with the entire

roster, is now at Hilton. Remember this. Plata is 20 years old. He'll be 21 before the season

starts. He's got four years of eligibility.

He's been playing professionally in Germany for the last couple of years. Averaged over 19 points and 10

rebounds a game in the third best German league this last year. Not quite sure what Plato will

provide his first year. But again, he's almost 21

years old, not your typical freshman, and it really is the first true foreign prospect in the TJ

Altenberger era. Excited to see what Plta can do and some practice clips from Iowa State.
