If you like the NFL draft, if you've been following it for the past 40 plus years, you know Mel Kuiper Jr. is the voice of authority on all things

NFL draft. Mel, the NFL regular season, is over. The college football season is over. That means, my friend, it is over. The college football season is over. That means my friend it is

officially draft season. It is feel let's team up man. I got four months to go and

a lot to talk about quarterbacks at the top. A lot of teams with decisions to make

starting with the Chicago Bears, so you stick with Justin Fields or do you go away

from Justin Fields, trade them and draft Caleb Williams. So a lot of debate

to battle for that second quarterback spot,

Jay, where are we with Michael Penix Jr.

after a subpar performance last night?

Where are we, J.J. McCarthy, after not having to carry a team

on his shoulders during his career at Michigan.

It's going to be really fun and there's other players in this draft by the way

field as you all well know beyond the quarterback so it's going to be a lot of fun

what a great ride it will be between now and late April.

Well to your point now the NFL's offensive rookie of the year award is coming down to

two gentlemen.

CJ shroud the second overall pick in the draft who some people thought the Texans

might have put themselves in a bind by dropping to pick number two in week 18 last year and having to quote unquote settled for C. Day's shroud.

The other man who was in the race for offensive rookie of the year is

Pukadakua, a fifth round pick who the Rams admitted themselves was

going to test poorly during the pre-draft process.
