Welcome to always college football and we've tried and the effort that we've all put in together as a family here at always college football.

We've tried to make sure that college sports and college football in particular is an outlet for so many and escape for so many to escape the tragedies of real life and unfortunately there are occasions in which real life intersects with that of college football and

that's exactly what transpired on Sunday night. Just want to take a moment to

think and acknowledge those that are associated with the Virginia football team,

those that are on campus there in Charlottesville.

I just can't even imagine what those people are going through and look when you're on a football team it becomes a

brotherhood guys from all different walks of life from all different corners of the United States in some cases

internationally guys come together and you love one another and you become brothers.

And to know that three young men had their lives tragically cut short because of a coward that was also at one point

their teammate is just beyond heartbreaking. So we here at always college football just want to say a prayer and lend a thought and make sure that those associated with Virginia know that we're thinking of them and especially we'd like to reach out to the families of Devon Chandler,

Lavelle Davis, and Deshaun Perry.

Although you're gone from us, your impact will not be forgotten. We will continue to honor you and

we'll continue to remember the lives that you touched in the short time that you were with

us here on earth. So God bless to all of Virginia and of course to the Virginia

Cavaliers football team. It's never an easy transition of course. We're all heartbroken. We're all

Obviously feeling the effects of what transpired in Charlottesville, but we do have a plan in store for you today.

We do want to focus on some fun things. We do want to think about some fun things as it relates to the college football world.

Just a few weeks left in the regular season and we're going to try to highlight some things that we found to be very interesting as we are beginning to put a little bit of a bow on what's been a phenomenal college football season.

So we're going to talk about playoff expansion. We're going to discuss the 12 team playoff

expansion and why it isn't the end of the world as some have suggested. I also think we

need to look at the resume of a few different teams that right now are on the bubble,

but still have made very strong cases to be considered at this point.
