Ole Miss fans have known that this moment was coming.

We talked all off-season about how this could be the team, the one to finally

get the rebels over the hump and put them in a prime position to possibly win a championship.

Now that an appearance in Atlanta looks all but lost, their eyes are squarely focused on a

college football playoff berth. And with the win over Georgia, they could all but clinch a spot in there.

Elaine Kippen put this team together like Dr. Frankenstein to do exactly that. And now is the time

this Saturday against Georgia to finally let the monster out into the village. Ole Miss fans are

tired of being close. They're sick of almost and they're ready to actually walk

into the dance, not just smoke a cigarette outside like Ben Affleck looking through the window.

This offense should be confident, especially after last week, and the defense will be stout,

but I do expect Georgia to give it to you. They're not going to lay down in this one.

The dogs are hell on the road and we saw what they did to Texas. Now, last week, Penn State couldn't come through in their big

moment. So now we'll miss Europe. So what's it going to be, Lane? Will the Oxford Faith will finally

get to taste glory in the big game, or will they be served the same old humble pie that they've gotten in the past.
