Tennessee takes on South Carolina tonight as they make a case for a number one seat in

the NCAA tournament. The Seahawks cut three-time pro-Bolar Jamal Adams and Hall of

Now Tennessee basketball hasn't made an elite eight since 2010.

That's despite winning more than 25 games.

Four out of the seven full years, not counting the COVID year,

under coach Rick Barnes.

They've consistently fielded one of the toughest

teams but they seem to always hit some sort of rut at some point in the NCAA

tournament before the elite eight and that's when they didn't have an elite bucket geter.

Now they're losing scores have been 55 56 62 and 68 not exactly blowing up the

scoreboard now their one high-scoring outlying loss was a 9994 defeat to Purdue.

But this Tennessee team they just they feel different. They don't just look like a strong defensive team that has just enough on offense to get by,

and they do have a walking bucket and soon to be SEC Player of the Year adult and Connect now,

and his ability won't allow this team to get in the same ruts for as long as we've seen at times that they've been sent home in the attorney.

Now his range is Yellowstone, his aim is Hawkeye, and the Duke can drive and finish better than Vin Diesel in any of the 38 Fast and

the Furious movies.

I mean, at some point are the cops going to catch these guys or what?

But the scariest part about this new version of Tennessee is the few times that Dalton hasn't gone off like we

recently saw in a win at Alabama, they are complete enough around him to still get away
