Again, to do another episode of the NOLCAST, but again, got a lot of information here to share with our listeners this morning.

We'll be recruiting focused as we jump into a variety of different subjects, but as always want to thank our friends and Luiz, Hannah.

0:17.0

Hot sauce, three simple ingredients, one fantastic product, tip of the hat to the people in New Iberia who make the NOLCAST possible.

Thank you as always to our title sponsor.

So this episode will be recruiting focused, but before we start, bud, why don't we just talk a little bit about the broader landscape around us, have a little bit of a better idea as to kind of as some of these states try to come back online.

0:43.0

What, what some of the opening ideas as to what the return of college football might look like and you know we certainly don't have any exact dates.

0:53.0

But it looks like we may have a little bit better conceptualization at least for some of these schools as to what you know normal, normalcy might look like.

1:03.0

Yeah, man, for sure. So yesterday we got word that looks like the state university schools in Florida should should be having some kind of plan out soon with regards to what they might have going on and fall.

1:17.0

That's that's really the first step I think to to us getting sort of some clues about well, if you're going to have a fall football season, if you're going to have a fall football season that starts on time, etc.

1:30.0

We saw I think it was University South Carolina.

1:34.0

I think this is notable because it's a Southern school, but they said that they were going to go all online classes after was it everything skipping or after November one I think one of those two days it's certainly something in November that that South Carolina has decided to do that.

1:53.0

I guess because the whole the flu spreads more easily when it's when it's cold out and probably when people are you know staying indoors more less sunshine, etc.

2:03.0

I've seen some northern schools say that, but I thought it was a little bit notable that a Southern school said that however, like Florida is even more southern terms of geography and and weather.

2:18.0

So I don't know if that's something that the Florida schools will do is certainly something I know that has been at least discussed according to people I talk to.

2:27.0

So I'm interested to see what they have like what they're going to put together and then and how it's going to play into the greater picture within the conference.

2:39.0

We've talked about this previously.

2:42.0

It's just going to be fascinating to see what happens and.

2:47.0

There's a there's a decent idea that maybe two thirds of the ACC will you know that kind of be proverbial, open for business when it comes to collegiate athletics college football.

3:00.0

And maybe a couple states that aren't it's just going to be fascinating to see how this how this works out.

3:07.0

We've talked about some of the non conference games that we have concerns with obviously the Boise game is amongst that but I think there may be even some you know some confusion and some additional work to be done logistically possibly if you know if say the Syracuse in the Boston colleges of the world aren't aren't able to come back online and and you know take part in a traditional 2020 college football season.

3:34.0

Yeah, what do you think the magic number is is there like like let's say let's say within the conference.

3:41.0

All right, think about the states that are that are the most northern in this conference right so let's say New York with Syracuse Massachusetts with Boston college.
