33 seconds in. All right. So unpredictable game. Maybe just the sun's being undefeated. All right, let's keep it simple.

0:46.0

0:55.0

1:15.0

The plan for today, a little bit of open bunch of topics, Chris Holtman, the head coach of the Ohio State Buck guys, men's basketball team.

1:25.0

We spend a lot of time talking college football. Not sure that I've helped at all, but we have and I thought, hey, you know what, considering everything the big 10 is going through, which I think right now is sort of being unfairly criticized and we'll get some of that maybe a little bit later, but let's get a basketball guys perspective on.

1:40.0

So let's do that Holtman's been on the job a couple years and then we have a new segment that's an old segment, but I'm bringing it back.

1:46.0

We've talked to our branding people about titling used to be stats to impress the ladies. Now it's just going to be stats to impress other people.

1:53.0

That's what we're going to do. Just everybody's involved very gender, you know, neutral on the whole stats thing and then life advice at the very end, a little bit more rapid fire. But we start with again college football. I'll be brief because I think I've been.

2:07.0

I don't know. It's not just repeating myself because some of the stuff isn't new, but concepts theories just the way I feel about certain things. So I don't want to keep going over and over and over again. Anyway, as of now, I'll believe the SEC place football when the ball is in the air and a Saturday night.

2:21.0

So even though right now there's this angst of weight. The South is going to do it. And it's just kind of like we had said, you could tell geographically depending on which news source you watch or maybe you watch a lot of them.

2:31.0

It's very predictable, which states may have been more ready to go compared to other states, depending on how that state was executing its regulations throughout this entire pandemic.

2:41.0

And so part of the angst from the Midwest and certainly the pack 12 has been well, the SEC and the ACC and big 12 and the text circle homes like, you know, those guys are just going to go ahead and kick football off that puts us sort of massive disadvantage.

2:55.0

I have seen people that I like and then I respect saying how far this will put other teams really other conferences behind those conferences in the South hold off. I saw somebody use the death penalty. So now you still work with. And I'm like, are you serious? You really think that's going to happen now to set this up further say the SEC ACC big 12 actually do play some version of a fall college football season.

3:18.0

And well, that means that one of those schools is going to win a title. Let's say the SEC just continues to win titles for the next five three the next five that's not some ridiculous prediction. It's very well reality without the pandemic, but say that happens that at least give big 10 and pack 12 fans and excuse to be like, wow, the only reason they're winning is because they played during the pandemic. We didn't. All right.

3:37.0

But what I do know is that I think in the moment, like a lot of this stuff, it's a total total over reaction. It is the Dallas Cowboys stadium scoreboard reaction. What happens on third and 10 if the guy drops back and throws the scoreboard and so do over.

3:51.0

It never happens. No one ever had to worry about it. But we had problems and I bring that example up as one of the best examples of time spent wasted on something that you can have to be worried about yet.

4:01.0

Could there be a slight recruiting bump from the schools in the South if they play this fall. Yes. But to think that all of a sudden all the kids that grew up loving Michigan, loving Ohio State Penn State Wisconsin, all the great big 10 schools and Nebraska, who if they had gone back to the big 12 or like we do we can do seven and five here again.
