This could turn out much better for far more people

than the doomsday scenario types are leading you to believe. And I am jumping in the tub of

optimism tonight. Late kick is jam-packed. I atop a glorious downtown Nashville, Tennessee,

Thursday night. February 8th, the Year of Our Lord, 2024, I think it may be fine after all. And I'm not just talking about

for 15 or 20 programs out there. I'm talking about the future as we look out over the horizon

and all these negative headlines and all these doomsday scenarios. Maybe, just maybe,

it'll turn out well, nay, better than expected for far more people than expected.

I know that's vague. Don't worry. I'll get into some specifics tonight. Nick Sabin's got a new job.

Good for him. Wasn't employed for very long. Big 10 programs. This was so popular the other night

when we did it with the SEC, we are ranking Big Ten programs

tonight, at which point everyone will proceed to misinterpret what I'm saying and misalign

the criteria and totally freak out. And that's okay. That's what God invented February for.

It's a little bumpy behind the scenes at Michigan right now. They just won a national title

ago, so it makes no sense if you're a more casual-minded fan. And by that, I just mean you're not paying a whole lot of attention. You may say, what? What do you mean it's bumpy up there?
