I'm in Las Vegas this morning, wrapping up a week at CES, which is where I chatted with our two podcast guests this week.

Augustine Veg Shider from Boston Consulting Group, aka BCG,

and Shai Shalav Schwartz, the chief technology officer at Mobilai.

We're going to do a show and industry overview with Augustine,

and then Shai is going to take us deep into mobilized thinking on how to safely deploy autonomous

vehicles, which were a big hits at CES this year.

Felt a little retro in that respect.

After a few years in the doldrums, autonomous vehicles are back.

First though today, my colleague Molly Boygan joins us for headlines.

Molly, how are you this morning? I'm doing well, thanks, Pete.

I'm hanging in there after a week in Las Vegas at CES.

Feeling a little bit draggled, but I'm otherwise doing fine.

Obviously a fun week, and I think maybe as is the hectic nature of this show, you were here

at one point. I still am here, but we never saw each other during the week. So tell me about

your CES experience and what you found compelling from an auto tech perspective. Yeah, I'm sorry

that we didn't get to see each other, but yeah, clearly we were

dispatched and fighting on different fronts. But I had a lot of really interesting conversations at

the show with people about software-defined vehicles. And in particular, the industry appears to be

in agreement that 2025 is not yet the year of the SDV. And there was some question about whether

the show would represent sort of a watershed moment and that didn't really materialize. And,
