And I'm Simon Sandsbury.

So here we are on our last virtual hustings before the elections on May 6th.

We've got an impressive rack of three candidates joining us this evening.

So we'll be introducing those in a moment.

So first of, I'm just going to explain how the proceedings will work and then I'll hand over to Ian to discuss some stats for the ward and then we'll get straight to the opening statements.

So the candidates in the Central South Sea ward that we've got tonight, we have Charlie Douglas from the Conservative Party, Charlotte Gerada from the Labour

Party. So these are all the names on the ballot that you'll see. Tomorrow, Gowin, is for the

Green Party and Steve Pitt for the Liberal Democrats. We have three of the four candidates with

this this evening. So questions then that we'll be asking to all of the candidates this evening have been submitted in advance via the event on Facebook by email.

And if this time we may also accept any fresh questions from the comments section on the live stream.

But we do have a full list of questions, so please do expect that.

All of the questions have been chosen by Ian and myself,

and they're ones that are applicable to the ward or to the city,

and they are also ones that we can ask to all of the candidates,

as per the rules that we've posted in advance of the hustings. So we've selected those. The candidates

will answer the questions in a randomized order, but we will give them a two-minute

response time for each question, and they will also have the opportunity

to use a 60 second rebuttal once all of the candidates have answered that question.
