Today we have left the house. We are on a little field trip. We are here in New York City visiting our best friends and favorite co-host, Macy Thompson. Hi guys, missed y'all. And I was just thinking

last time I was on, that was December, which feels like yesterday, I was like crashing out. And now I'm just kind of like hanging out.

Yeah. To be fair, I feel like you weren't crashing out. But like, now I'm just kind of chilling.

Yeah, no, you're in a much better place. Yeah, I'm just like, yeah, we're great. For some reason, I felt like we'd recorded between the last crash shop, but I guess not. No, it's been December. Wow. Three months. Look how much can change. I know. I think it has to do with your running routine. Yeah, running in Lexapro. Oh, that is huge. Last time, like, I was barely sleeping. I was battling some insomnia guys. Like, we were thinking yesterday, like, if I was on The Bachelor, like, that would be my sob story. Like, wait, start over. You're going to go. Okay. Okay, I'm Matt James.

Okay. Okay. He's the only one I could think of. Okay. I don't know. He's a bachelor. Right? Yeah, it's okay. Yeah, I have to hold your hand. I just want to come forward and say that there was a few weeks where I just was not sleeping. It would be 12 a.m. 1 a.m. 2 a.m. and I was just up. And I was thinking about you. No, but I wasn't sleeping. She's like, and you know, I just want to remove the stigma. No, exactly. Insomnia is not all that. No, it was awful. Actually, like, legitimately do have insomnia. No, I know. I know that we talk in extremes. But for the record, like, if there's any sleep doctors out there, like, please call her. No, I did talk to quite a few. And one of my doctors was like, I think this might be anxiety. And then I started running and Lexa Pro and here I am a new person and it's really changed my life and I just feel so happy.

I have to tell it at some point. I think today is better than ever. Okay. The Central Park, it's the Mabling Women's Half Marathon and Central Park. I cannot emphasize enough how I was not a runner before this. Like, I did run a 10K in 2024 because Kenzie told me that I wouldn't do it. She was like, I know you're not going to do this race, but I'm doing it. And I was like, no, I will. I said that because I knew it's the only way that I could get her to do it exactly so I trained for like a month I ran the 10k and I didn't run again this time I've had a much more holistic approach you know macy Thompson macy holistic Thompson exactly macy green thumb Thompson it's kind of crazy because last year we cheered on tabby at her half marathon and I made a sign that said OZempic is easier. And I just want to say like, I'm still on it. It is. I'm still on it, but running for my brain. Yeah. No, but you actually, the only way that you can get yourself to wrong. I mean, I don't know, maybe if you just like hate yourself enough, I guess that would work. But like, genuinely the only way that you can be consistent is like it has to be good for your brain.
