All right, continuing our positional rankings here and want to get to the center position.

One which will be no doubt a subject of some controversy as the MVP debate gets down to the wire.

So I want to let you know we are recording this late on Sunday March 19th and not sure exactly

when this is going to run because we don't know how much longer we have Danny before paternity leave.

So I wanted to make sure we could get his opinion here in the book. So I guess Danny where we need to start here.

We've gone through shooting guards through power forward still a point guards to go after this.

Obviously anyone who hasn't been mentioned yet that's remotely has any size is going to be in this as a

center. But just generally what is a center to you? It has been changing over over the years.

I mean, I think that you can point to Yokech as a forerunner of this. But of course there are plenty of

others. The idea that typically the center is your lead rim protector. Typically they are your

most efficient in terms of true shooting offensive player. That's more virtue of them taking higher

portion of the shots around basket. But it's tallest guy, ideally your rim protector. But centers

change like we talked about how power forwards dictate a lot of offense defense. And that's

certainly true. Centers are doing that as well. And so the position is covering more ground than

ever before, which is extremely exciting. Yeah, I think so. And a center, obviously if you have a

center that has kind of these extra skills for the position, that is what I've come to really

believe it is very valuable. But then you also because there's kind of like the sine qua non we think
