Center of the world is the kind of place that's been in the news a lot lately.

The Rust Belt is full of these small towns and cities that got slammed in the recession.

They lost their industries and whole generations got lost.

In places like Center of the World, opiate addiction is epidemic.

In recent years, deaths from drug addiction in Ohio went up 775 percent.

And they're on the rise in a particular population, white, working class, American men.

And Charles could have been one of them.

Charles, center of the world in Northeast Ohio, this is home to you, the place where you grew up?

Absolutely. And I was thinking the other day, this is the place where I had my first kiss. This is the place where I played football. This is where I go on for Thanksgiving, for weddings, for Christmas. It's home.

And this is also, you have a lot of relatives there.
