It's been a decade.

I don't know why, but I feel like Anthony Hopkins and meet Joe Black.

My, doesn't it go by in a blink?

I find myself the day after the 10-year anniversary, which is February 25th, feeling healed and yet so overwhelmed with emotion.

Let me explain.

I think one of the, probably the driving factor in my relationships with people, especially romantic, has been the way I behave when my feelings are hurt.

I've never quite been able to control what I say once my feelings are hurt.

It has caused a lot of pain and disruption in the lives of people around me.

And I suppose until this morning, that runaway train is just always ready to go, barely being held back by some form of social decorum, I suppose.

But it's never far from letting loose.

I realized today that so much of those hurt feelings,

if not all of them,

center around never being any never being given any credit or perhaps more accurately

accurately having a hard time getting this out as you can see never being celebrated

in fact never being celebrated. In fact, I can trace back every major argument that I've ever had with a man

to me doing something for which I desperately wanted some celebrating, celebration, a pat on the back,

some encouragement, some attention maybe and not getting it and the way and the way that it
