Inside China, tens, possibly hundreds of thousands of people work to keep certain content off the internet. But

nobody truly understands what rules these censors are following. In an attempt to better understand

the unwritten policies of internet policing, Gary King and colleagues posted potentially

inflammatory comments on the top 100 social media sites in the country.

I spoke with him about what censorship of these posts revealed and what he learned from setting up his own social media site in China.
