I'm here with my friend Vic Mattis, and it is a, we're in our post Thanksgiving regroup phase. How's it going?

How's your reentry, Vic? Oh, hello, Mary Catherine. I'm hanging in there. Everything is fine.

That's all I'm going to say is everything is fine. What I would like to know is how is your Thanksgiving,

shall we say, your Thanksgiving sojourned.

Oh, my goodness. I don't know that it was that sojourney. Oh, it was a sojourney. Yes, it was.

And you made it and you're back. I did. I went on a on an odyssey all the way down to Georgia.

And it was a lot. It was a lot. I'm not going to lie. I'm very

brave when I was just you and your children. No, actually, I took my Opaire Danny, who is a beloved

member of the family and also loves football. And she had never been to an American football game

before. So I took her with me. Now, had she not been able to

come or declined to come, I still would have done it. And that would have been stupid. Because

now three little kids, three kids, one of whom is a newborn on a 12-ish hour road trip into a football game.

Thank goodness for Danny.

Yes.

So she saved me from myself and my ambitions.

But nonetheless, on the Friday before Thanksgiving week, I picked up the kids from school,

drove to my parents' house in North Carolina, rested there for like an hour, and then got

back in the car to go all the way to Gaffney, South Carolina and pull into a, not a sketchy one.

It was a, it's a decent little motel. So it's a super eight style. You, you are overnighted.

Yes. So we stayed in South Carolina so that we could get up in the morning and make it for
