Busted Open Radio. I'm Ryan McKiddle your weekend host got the one and only Tommy Dreamer along for the ride here on this weekend

edition and I wouldn't want anyone else here to talk about the return of John Freaking Cena. That's right last night on Friday Night Smackdown.

John Cena showed up on our screens and he told us what we can expect about the future of the one and only future.

Paul of Famer as he comes to television on December 30th. He's got a tag partner will tell you who that is and he's got a match.

And we'll talk about that and more specifically we'll talk about what it means for the future and this year's WrestleMania's.

John Cena going for 20 for 20, 20 WrestleMania's in 20 years. Well time will tell and it wouldn't be a weekend edition of Busted Open Radio if we didn't give you weekly winner.

He goes into Chicago and he shows up on TV on a screen on the on the day is anywhere right if he's anywhere in the vicinity.

He's getting nuclear heat right and he's always got his fans don't get me wrong but there was an error there where John Cena showing up in Chicago would not have gone over well last night.

It's a completely different error completely different time that we're living and completely different appreciation and I'm really glad that I'm saying this Tommy about John Cena because it's about damn time that this dude is getting universal respect because at this point I don't think you can do anything else.

You can't be the lone person sitting in a room saying John Cena sucks anymore because you just look stupid you just sound dumb he doesn't suck he's one of the greatest of all time you might not like him but you got to give him his credit.

You got to appreciate him because he's gone he doesn't need to do this he's coming in like for that you know listen and John's he was always a great representative of WWE John also he can do it in the ring and John he was one of those guys and you know he thrived going almost like every place that he went because it was the cool thing to do to boo him like he was the away team and he'd always still pull it out under.

This amazing you know pressure and still have great matches I felt you know bully mark myself a lot of right we all talk about hey John was the man same as a lot of them they were pushing Roman Reigns Roman was the man and people didn't want to believe it or accept it now you know we're seeing a total different Roman Reigns and you know the caller had called I'm sick of seeing John Cena Roman Reigns no you're not.

Well you may be personally but it's going to draw a big box office and it's going to draw their different characters their different people and I'm not saying it should main event WrestleMania I'm not saying you know that's one hell of a match whether I guarantee you it's going to do ratings for you know Fox it's got a good build up already and it's the return to John Cena when John Cena was the US champion and he was doing that open challenge and having like match after match and having bangers before bangers were a thing.

That's when I feel like it kind of turned for John Cena where people like man this guy's really really good yeah I think that's very appreciate what you have until it's gone because he's gone and appreciate you've seen him because hey it may be another year or maybe he may let's that streak die next year you never know.

You know and you talk about him being gone like he is gone that's the other thing people leave for different avenues and different ventures and you know when I were talking about Steve Austin didn't wrestle for 19 years yeah yeah 19 years like that's great.

That's it the last time if you were a 20 year old person which I was 40 year old person yeah literally literally that timeline is my timeline.

I was born yeah I'm as old as WrestleMania is I'm 39 years old right it's WrestleMania 39 like that that so so seeing him come back and having that yeah I you talk about it is an appreciation and I think your life has changed I mean to cut your off think about your life has changed from your 20s to your 30s.

It's not even comparable it's not even that's my it's my it's it is my 20s and 30s it's that entire it's a it's my entire adult life right and that's just I mean for a guy like Austin that's a blip on the radar.

And I wasn't I shouldn't say that because he's at an entire life after that outside the square circle but for him coming back and feeling what he felt I can only imagine because I know the way I felt watching him at WrestleMania and a whole generation Tommy is getting that with John Cena because for an entire generation their stone cold Steve Austin their rock.
