Hey guys, this is Denise Salsato with Mark Henry and welcome to the Busted Open podcast. To kick off the show, Mark and I discuss John Cena's promo last night and get into the final leg of his retirement tour.

This is the busted open podcast. It was an interesting show last night because I think last night was the day that I most felt the two hours when I thought, oh man, we only had a couple of things that went down on this show because it's only a two hour show.

So it flew by.

And the big thing that I want to kick off with is how the show threaded with everything

between John Sina, Logan Paul, Drew McIntyre, Cody Rhodes, and all of that.

But how'd you feel overall about last night's Smackdown?

I thought Smackdown was good last night.

And it was a lot of it was the way that it was layered the way that the

show flowed into one thing into the next and uh it wasn't always a level of like advancement it was

just like really good put together wrestling.

And even the things in between, you know, you have the promo segments and then you have the general manager coming out going, oh, okay, hold on, hold on, hold on.

Like, since everybody's making matches, we're going to do that.

Like everything flowed into each other and even like I was wondering

how are they going to address the issue with our truth with Sina coming back and and him pouring

his heart out and they did that really well. And, and see, truth, you know, they did the mirror,

you know, if you're back, I'm back. They explain things throughout the show. So I thought

it was very well put together. Yeah, there was a lot of movement, I think, for upcoming things and some teases for things we might see.

And we'll kind of go ahead and break those down as to what some of those were on the show.

But I want to kick things off of John Cena's promo because he sort of, you know, we're back to the baby face johnson and last week we were questioning

it right we were thinking is this a swerve is this not a swerve and then after the events that unfolded

at summer slam we realized okay not a swerve mark we ran a poll here on busted open we asked the

people whether or not they felt because everybody came off of that feeling
