Glad that you're here tonight. Glad we're going to do this this weekend. It's usually, I try to take the largest bulk of my time off every year in December.

But Pastor Randy felt it was imperative that we do this.

And I didn't feel that in the beginning until I went home and prayed.

And the Lord said, yes, this needs to be done.

December is a very important month for me because December always represents finishing.

And I think finishing is so associated with starting that I don't put nearly as much

attention every year on January as I do on December.

Because I think that December is not just the end of the year, it's a gate to a new year.

So I was telling Pastor Randy, in my life, I would say that I've probably fasted at least twice as much in December as I ever have in January.

Because I understand the law of preparation.

I understand that there's a law of being made ready.

And I want to talk to us this weekend about some of the things that we need to do to be made ready.

Don't you want to be ready?

I want to be ready for everything God has ordained for me to have this coming year.

I don't want to be cut off from any resource.

I don't want to be cut off from any supernatural, miraculous expression of heaven. I want to see the sick healed.

I want to see the dead raised. I want to see the lame walk. I want to see the oppressed delivered.

I want to see alcoholics be set free. I want to see marriages restored. I want to see a generation

affected and impacted with the life-giving force of the kingdom of God. And I'm planning on seeing thousands upon thousands of people make decisions for Jesus,

filled with the Holy Ghosts, baptized in water, and turned loose on a region.
