breaking the curse of controlled care and welcome to the podcast. Thanks. I'm tired of

you controlling me. Honey everybody knows that is not possible.

Well, we got married.

You were very beaten down.

You were beautiful. you had zero self-esteem, I was very

dominant, and so you know we were a match in the sense that you know emotionally we were a

match but we were a mess and it didn't work and so as we began to you know

devolve into our marriage I began to, you know, devolve into our marriage. I began to be more and more dominant.

You began, you actually were getting healthier spiritually and the Lord was healing your emotions. And so you began to stand up to me but control is a curse it's always a curse

Well what happened is I was you know I got tired of being the way I was I really did I just got sick of it I got so tired of being the way I was. I really did. I just got sick of it. I got so tired of being

insecure and intimidated and just feeling like I was worthless and all the self-hate I had.

And so, you know, basically I would just I started turning towards Lord and looking

into the word of God and I realized you know I'm not a horrible person and it's not

like you were saying that to me but that's how I felt because I didn't

have a good self-esteem anyway and so you know as I began to get healed like you're saying

from reading the word of God and just trust in God, you know, I also knew because

of your dominance there's no way I could change you. And so, you know, I just started trusting

God to change you. But that's not my motive. My motive wasn't to get you to change so much

as it was for God to change me. And you know I wanted God to change me no matter what and because
