Hey everybody, welcome back to another episode of Dying Laughing.

This is a special one. Today is my dad's birthday, and we all know he dead AF.

And normally birthdays are about cake and balloons and pretending you're not mad about aging,

but what about when the person's dead? The party looks a little different.

There's no phone call, there's no awkward card that my dad made out of some old

utility bill. No dad jokes about getting older. It's just you, your memories, and if you're lucky,

maybe a plate of chicken riggies. Now, in this episode, I'm celebrating my dad the way he would

have wanted to be remembered with a little food, some laughter, and some light roasting because

grief birthdays are super weird.

They hurt, but they also give us permission to remember, honor, and even laugh at the quirks of the people we love.

So if you're someone out there who is loving someone who's gone on their birthday and wondering how to celebrate them,

I'm going to give you some tips and tools of the trade

and teach you how to get through that holiday and enjoy the holiday.
