I know we've kind of stopped the chit chat at the beginning of the show, but I feel like if we can do it at any point, it's today.

How are you doing?

Yes, I'm doing well. You can see,

I'm up at my mountain house, which is in the western mountains of North Carolina. I was here

when Hurricane Helene hit in this house, and we weren't expecting it to hit. But four o'clock in the

morning and Thursday last week or whenever it was, it's like two weeks of Vegas. Wow, that sure is a lot of wind. And, oh, man, what a devastation. But things are getting back much better here. The town of Waynesville is pretty well functioning, and Asheville's getting better. So it's all good. Yeah. But I tell you, I mean, there's a lot of issues in the world

right now. So apart from the issues in the world, how are you doing? Apart from the issues in the world, I'm doing pretty well. Thank you. Life is ticking along as it does. There are children everywhere. Pretty normal for me, working on bits and pieces. Yeah, enjoying life. I always say this. very happy the weather is finally cooled off in Maryland.

I just, I don't do, do not do. And again, I'm British, so talking about the weather is a thing I do. I do not do well with the heat. Yeah, well, I live with one of those. Yes, that's true. You're used to it. It gets to 72. Oh, my God. It's blazing hot out here.
