We discuss the things we each do to keep Star Wars fun and enjoyable in an age when being a fan can be pretty tiring and divisive. 0:00.0	Welcome to the Resistance Broadcast, everybody, John Howie, James Bany, Lacey Gillarillerin coming to you live from the Resistance Base.
0:22.7	We're live, baby!
0:26.1	I am actually not in my normal quarters of the base because my normal quarters of the base lost
0:31.2	its Wi-Fi. So I'm at my mom's house quarters of the base. But we are doing this either way. We had to make it happen.
0:39.5	A tornado decided to run through my town the day we're doing our first actual live broadcast.
0:43.4	So there you have it. But this is our first live version of the podcast since our live panel
0:50.4	at, I don't want to say the words, but Star Wars Celebration 2019.
0:56.0	It feels good to be doing this.
0:57.2	We wanted to do this because we figured we would have been at celebration,
1:00.1	hopefully doing some form of a live podcast either today or tomorrow, whatever.
1:04.4	But COVID-19 is the ultimate villain in the galaxy, and here we are.
1:08.5	So are you guys happy to be doing some version of a live
1:11.8	show even though it's not where we would like to be? For me, absolutely. Because it's so crazy.
1:18.6	Like I went into so much prep for the celebration that we did. I was like trying to make sure
1:24.1	everything is meticulous. And of course, last minute, there's like these random problems that would happen.

1:30.8	Yeah.
1:31.2	And yet this year, we knew we weren't going to be able to do it, but we, you know, the word
1:35.1	live kept sticking out to us.
1:36.3	So we decided to go ahead with this.
1:38.4	We did a lot of preparation, getting everything together and trying to understand how
1:42.2	this whole like live thing works.
