Nintendo's quarterly earnings report and what that means for the system going forward.

Back from the dead. This time hopefully the heat will not melt your internet. I'm happy to have you

back on. Thank you. I got to think so. I was literally melting your internet. That's insane.

Yeah, I got one sentence in on last week's episode and then I was gone. I was out.

Well, I'm glad to have you back to talk about the ace attorney and other things starting with Nintendo's

quarterly earnings report which we just learned about this morning. We're coming off hot off that

news. So we're going to decipher it the best we can with the limited time we had with that

information. But as of now, the Nintendo Switch has sold 89.04 million units, meaning a whole

bunch of different things. It is now outsold the 360 and the PS3 in its lifetime. It will definitely

outsell the Wii U and 3DS in sales combined during their lifetime by the end of this year.

Because that was only 87.4 million units. Only has to sell half a million more. And Nintendo

thinks sell sell 20 million more before next March. And this is just also going by fiscal years,

by the way. We call this the first quarterly report because fiscal years end in March and start

in April. So anything else that any of you would like to pinpoint from this report, there's a lot

of cool information in here. Look at where to start. I know. I know.

The thing that jumps out at me is how insanely well Mario Kart continues to sell. It's actually

creeping up on Mario Kart Wii, which is the all-time king, the series. And should be able to surpass it
