No Pete today, but Darius is here to help me celebrate Kobe Day.

My name is Mike, by the way.

So, Darius, the way that I like to celebrate Kobe's birthday is to pick an old game from the past

in Kobe's birthday, of course, a day before Kobe Day.

And I decided to go through game four of the 2000 finals against Indiana.

I was at the time a freshman in college and watching the game probably at least a bit passively while studying for finals and doing stuff like this.

At the time, I was a huge NBA fan.

I was transitioning from, Jordan was always there.

The Timberwolves were starting to get a little bit interesting under KG, but not really. So I would watch, of course, all of the finals games. But you probably watch this game as if your life depended upon it at the time. The Lakers had yet to win a title with Kobe and Jack, of course. And I don't know the degree to which pressure was mounting to do so. They, they, of course, brought in Phil Jackson.
