Things that interesting your various world, some religion and atheism stuff.

Yeah, here's some here's a I want to start with this article featuring a woman whose name I do enjoy saying.

But I hope I hate having to say her name because of who she is. Lauren Bobert.

I love. A name that rings echoes through the halls of. I mean, it brings with it the portent of evil, I think, Bobert.

And I don't know that Bobert doesn't ring evil to me. Bobert is just a dumb sound name.

But Lauren Bobert. There's your evil. There's your absolutely. Well, Dan, did you hear. I don't think we talked about it on the show, but a few weeks ago at CPAC.

She announced that her son has had gotten his girlfriend pregnant. Oh, you hear about this. Her 17 year old son. No, I'm not. I'm not under the hot goss. Yeah, I hadn't heard about this either, but it's juicy. And I was just like, what?

Also, why do you announce that at CPAC? That feels like well, because she's trying to get out in front of the story. I think she's trying to get out in front of like she's trying to control the story, right?

Her son's girlfriend who the article keeps referring to as partner. So I don't know, but they're both teenagers and in high school. Well, actually, we don't really know how old she is. At least the article that I read.

The only thing that Lauren Bobert was willing to confirm about the girlfriend is that she is over the age of 14.

Oh, good.

His 15 year old girlfriend, I suppose. Probably 14 and a half is technically over 14, but okay.

Whatever. She, I think the whole point of like telling it was so that she could she could sort of brag on the fact that they're not getting an abortion. Right.

Right. Like that's if she can control the story and spin it that way, then this is not a story about her failure as a Christian parent to keep her child on, you know, away from the sex. Right.

But she's from rural rural America where teenagers get pregnant all the fucking time and don't abort and don't do the responsible thing. Right.

Or even even at a certain point, just if you can't bring yourself to an abortion. Right. Or to have an abortion.

Give the thing up for adoption.

Okay. You know what? We need to back off of like there's no there's no one way to handle this. There is no one way to handle it.
