I'm so excited today about our final message

before our Sabbath break at Passion City Church.

And I know even for some of you the idea

that we're taking a Sabbath break is a brand new idea to you.

Maybe new to Passion City Church and you're thinking,

you know, I've never been to church.

I didn't know churches could take a few weeks off

and not meet or, you know,

we never did that at the church I came from.

So I'm not really sure I fully understand everything

that's going on with the Sabbath break.

That's what I love about this opportunity today

because we can talk together about why Passion City Church

has this crazy idea that for two Sundays

we're not going to gather here on Sundays.

And our entire team will be shut down

in the week between those two Sundays.

Why would we entertain such a crazy idea is that

in the title of the message that I want to kind of wrap

around this idea of our Sabbath break today

is cease fire.

And so I want to pray and I just want to ask God
