Summary

The SAVE Act and the SAVE America Act are two of the most searched bills in Congress right now—and they're confusing a lot of people. By digging into what these bills actually do—and the long history they fit into—you'll see why they're widely considered voter suppression efforts and how they could affect your ability to vote. And more importantly, you'll learn what you can do right now to protect your ballot before any of this becomes law. DHS would be a required part of every state's election system, receiving information about

0:05.7

every single one of us who wants to vote, including which party were a part of. And after being

0:11.6

given our information, the Department of Homeland Security would have to run our names through their

0:15.6

systematic alien verification for entitlement system, the save system. But after that, there's no restriction

0:22.2

on what else can be done by the Department of Homeland Security with all of the voter role

information. And so I actually think that by putting up more hurdles, not just with registration,

0:33.6

but with voting itself, and by handing our information over the Department of Homeland Security,

I am so damn tired of being lied to.

1:01.0

I don't think I can't deny it anymore you can't stick to your story

1:07.0

1:11.6

But I'm not going to buy it anymore.

And today, I feel the need to clear

1:30.1

some things up. We're going to talk about some bills that are not law, which actually might not

1:35.3

become law, but which I know a lot of people are concerned about. One of the ways that I know

1:41.3

people are concerned about, or, well, first of all, my messages from

1:44.7

people are making it clear that there is confusion. But also if you go on Congress.gov and you look

1:50.1

at the most viewed bills, number one is the Save Act and number three is the Save America Act.

1:56.5

And this is despite the fact that the Save Act, sitting at number one, people are looking it up even though it has been long debt.
