The problem is that you're putting the cart before the horse.

You've now passed out of this committee a 10-year moratorium on all AI regulation at the state level before you even have that framework.

And that's the problem.

Does it make sense to regulate AI technologies on the national level so that businesses can follow one set of

rules? Yeah, I think so. But is there any sign that Congress is working on such a law? No,

none. Instead, the Republican Congress is attempting to just stop regulation of AI in the United

States altogether for 10 years and in an incredibly shady way via Dingleberry on

the Big Beautiful Bill.

I am so damn tired of being lied to.
