I mean with Congressional dish I like to watch congressional hearings and I read

congressional bills and I tell you what's going on in Congress itself.

And this is a little bit different because you know I started this podcast almost four years ago now

Because I wanted to do something to make the country better at least make people more aware of what's going on in the most important

branch of the federal government because for us as citizens it's Congress where

most of our power is and yet most of our attention is paid towards the executive branch it's paid towards the executive branch, it's paid towards the presidency, and I think that is a big

big mistake. We need to know what happens in Congress after we elect people, you know, we can't

only pay attention to elections and then go off and do other things.

And so when I realized that it was so difficult for me to get the information, I was seeking

about what was going on day to day in Congress.

I decided to start a podcast that I would want to listen to.

And so that's where congressional dish came from.

I just wanted to know what was going on in Congress.

And to have it explained to me in a way that wasn't wonky with

language I didn't understand.
