international regulations that trump our laws. This deal would be between

12 countries, some of them huge, including the United States, Australia, Canada,

Brunei, Chile, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore, and Vietnam, and it's open-ended so others can join later.

This deal was created over the course of seven years and was negotiated in almost total secrecy.
