And as promised last week this episode is going to be

about the factory Farm Bill which is the surprise Farm Bill that was

introduced out of nowhere in the middle of last week. For those of you that are new to this show,

I cover the House of Representatives.

The name of the show is Congressional Dish,

and sometimes I'll tell you what's going on in the Senate.

But what I'm doing is I'm reading all the bills that pass the House of Representatives and let you know what's in them. And the reason that I pick the House is, well, one reason is that the Senate gets plenty of coverage in the mainstream media. It's pretty easy to find out what they're doing. But the house is largely

ignored, at least the details are, and the house is our house. It's supposed to represent

the people and we've let it get completely out of control, so I want us to know exactly what's going on in there.

Now what's been going on in the house over the past couple of months is that now that the

sun is out and the kids are out of school and all of us are distracted the house is

passing one huge funding bill after another, after another,

and I quite frankly can't keep up.

And so I am now officially behind on the schedule.
