took a week off and I really really needed it so thank you for coming back to the show. I know I took a week off and I really really needed it, so thank you for putting up with that.

And the reason I was able to take that week off is because Congress took that week off.

For what? I don't know. I keep calling it the Cinco de Mayo vacation. Did you get a Cinco de Mayo vacation?

Because I did and I really liked it and Congress did too. And that was their seventh week off that they've taken since the first of January.

And I'll be doing at least one episode a week for the next three weeks because Congress is

working three whole weeks in a row before they take a week off for Memorial Day.

And the House of Representatives was back this week and I'm going to tell you about the couple

of bills that they worked on.

It was another giant waste of time to be honest in the

House of Representatives, albeit an interesting waste of time. But before I do that I

need to follow up on the last episode. I did the 26th episode which aired two weeks ago

In that episode I talked a lot about HR 1549

Now that was a bill that would have solved a big problem that we're having right now

that very few people are even aware of. The problem is that the pool of money

which was set aside as a part of Obamacare for people with pre-existing

conditions that pool of money is running out.

That pool of money was supposed to be there to get people from when the bill was passed in 2010

to when the bill actually goes into effect on January 1st, 2014, which is when people with

pre-existing conditions will be able to get health insurance just like the rest of

us. But the problem is that pool of money is running out, so starting on March 2nd
