who's been on the show a couple of times, been on Fully Charged Show in the past.

This week is Ketan Joshi. He's an Australian science journalist and real, an energy specialist,

real focus on the energy matrices around the world, just an incredibly knowledgeable person.

I first met Ketan in Australia in Sydney many years ago and he now lives in Oslo with his wife

and child. He's about to have another baby. I'm very excited to hear about the new baby,

I love babies. He just did incredible insights into the kind of global energy picture and what

really these things mean. So in this episode we talk about the fossil fuel lobbying, the extension

rebellion and some of the difficulties they've been through in the British press, Boris Johnson.

We talk about diesel shaming in some detail which is very interesting and blue hydrogen.

Ketan really understands the complexities of blue hydrogen and carbon capture and storage,

which many of you listen to this will have heard of CCS being the sort of absolute panacea

for the fossil fuel industry. We can keep burning gas and oil as long as we capture the

carbon and sequestrate it and no one, as you will hear in great detail, is really doing that.

Any scale that has any relevance after 20 years of telling us that carbon capture and storage

is the answer. So it is such an always a joy to talk to Ketan. He's such an extraordinary man.

I'm a big fan. We're going to get him back on the show again. We're going to talk about net zero

and what that means in a future episode. But that's enough of this. Let's start straight away
