With the lockdown of the internet imminent, there is a natural reaction to maintain personal privacy online. In the world of economics, the birth of Bitcoin in 2009 changed the landscape of currency with its unique blockchain encryption technology. The decentralized financial market is certainly a foundation for the mark of the beast system. But until the marks are issued on the right hand or forehead, there are some who will endure, resist and hold steadfast to the truth by using these platforms and technologies for the purpose of spreading the Gospel message. And the urgency for the church to come to grips with this reality is distinctly present as we launch into 2017.
