This is the movement of the Holy Family, leading people to Jesus through friendship, good conversation and the Rosary. So welcome to our Rosary meditation.

I am blessed this evening to be with the Emmaeus small group, the Bible study, of a wonderful

bunch of people that started together, many of them in 1992. So they have been a team of friends

that have been sharing life and integrating their faith for almost 30 years now.

They are really the model of what everybody needs.

Everybody needs a small group of family and friends who can share life and integrate their faith.

So everybody out there, you gotta get your team.

So let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Let's call to mind all of those we've promised to pray for especially for this young

woman Margo to be healed of her traumatic brain injury, we continue to pray for the

healing of Olivia Canile and all of those who are on your heart.

So I have always loved the opening interviews to the movie The Incredibles,

where Mr Incredible, the superhero complains,

no matter how many times you save the world,

it always manages to get back in jeopardy again.

Sometimes I just want it to stay saved, you know, I feel like the maid. I just

cleaned up this mess. Could you keep it clean for 10 minutes? Now I think this is how Jesus probably feels about us. He saved us by his death and

resurrection and we just keep messing it up again.

The fact is, we are constantly in need of being saved

because we're constantly messing up our souls.

And just as soon as I get feeling confident of my goodness,
