Hi everybody and welcome to another episode of Coaches Corner and this week you

just got me I'm still in Bali I just finished facilitating my first retreat

here and already booked next year's

dates because it was amazing just amazing and I'm just full of so much joy and gratitude and I want to share a little Bali love with you because this place is magical and there are so many lessons here.

First, I just want to speak to the joy that's here. I've been blessed

to travel to many places in the world and there's no place like this island that is

full of so many people who are just happy and look at you and

smile and the joy here is absolutely contagious and people really care for each other.

Everyone lives in community, in villages.

And I think that's one of the reasons they are so happy.

They get a lot of soul food.

They value connection and love

and being a good person over anything else.

And I honestly think that's one of the reasons

in the Western world. we suffer from so much

depression and sadness and not joy is because we don't live in community. We

live in very isolated existances. If you're single you may live alone even if you're in a

couple you probably live just with that person or even if you have a family we

live in these very nuclear families some people don't even know their neighbors.

We don't live in community.

We're not surrounded by people.

And I think we're all hungry for soul food.
