Summary
I have been hearing a lot of people complaining about being single lately and approaching their relationship status as some kind of disorder that needs to be treated. I observe so many single people, especially the ladies out there, consistently working on themselves to find their "soulmate."
In today's Coaches Corner I encourage you to be grateful for whatever your relationship status is – single, dating, divorced, engaged, married or it's complicated – and embrace it because there is tremendous growth, love and even FUN that comes with each one. I also share some of the perks I have found from being single.
I also share about a new program my husband, Stefanos, and I are facilitating for single women who are ready to call in a relationship. It is called "Be the Queen" and you can learn more about it www.christinehassler.com/bethequeen.

| 0:00.0 | Hi everybody and welcome to Coaches Corner. I am sitting in Meekinose Greece looking at the ocean getting ready to go to my wedding rehearsal and tomorrow I'm getting married. Makes me emotional. It's been |

| 0:26.0 | I got divorced in 2009, getting married in 2019, so it was a decade of navigating through divorce and being single and dating and I thought |
| 0:37.2 | it would be interesting to do an episode today on being single. |
| 0:41.5 | The ups, the downs, the challenges, the opportunities, because it was quite a journey for me. |
| 0:46.7 | And if someone had told me when I got divorced in 2009 that, well actually we split really in 2008. |
| 0:54.0 | Anyway, if someone had told me that it wouldn't be in 2019 that I'd be marrying a love of my life, |
| 0:59.0 | I don't know that I would have done it because I had the perception that being single that long would have been a failure or how |
| 1:06.9 | was I ever going to find someone ever being single for that long. |
| 1:11.0 | But now looking back, I'm so happy that I had that decade, and I'm so happy that I waited. |
| 1:16.0 | I could have gotten into a relationship, possibly married someone sooner, but especially after my divorce, I didn't want to have to get another divorce. |
| 1:25.0 | Not that there's anything wrong with two divorces or three, we all have our journey, but for me, |
| 1:30.0 | I really wanted to take my time and in my mind get it right. |
| 1:33.5 | And by right, I don't think that anyone's perfect, but I do believe there is the perfect |
| 1:38.2 | person for each one of us. |
| 1:40.4 | And Steph is my perfect person. |
| 1:42.5 | And yes, we have our arguments. |
| 1:43.6 | We actually got on an argument on the plane ride |
| 1:46.2 | to London to get to meekinose. |
| 1:49.1 | And, but we sort of get through it. |
| 1:51.4 | So we have our moments and he's not perfect. I'm definitely not perfect. |
