Well, look at worsening views of the economy, Nate. There's two thirds of people say it is getting worse. Let me show you why one of the ways people interact with the economy is gas prices.

If you're paying more, you're seeing those big signs up. Back in August, there was some optimism which already said, okay, they're going down. But look at this. Now 63% say gas prices are going up in their area.

So I asked people, okay, what's going to politics here? Who you blame for this? What's the reason? Well, look, there's more folks now who say the democratic policies have harmed the economy than helped it.

It's not the only reason they see for this, but they're reasoning out of results, right? If they want to pinch parties and power, okay, must be doing something wrong. And then by contrast, they think, well, Republican policies more likely would help.

Okay, so a new Harvard Harris poll came out this past weekend and it says that voters top concern 37% say inflation 29% say the economy, which is a total of 66%.

And the Gallup poll says that 59% of Americans are now concerned about inflation and a Rasmussen report shows the same story. So 84% say rising prices will be important in their vote. No other issue is really even in play.

And Casey, I think because you mentioned the Harvard Harris poll that showing Republicans are up by six. There was another poll out Rasmussen that showed Republicans, I believe up eight.

And I think Casey, and I mean, all my memories, I'm getting a little older. So it's not as what it once was. But I think some radio shows somewhere back in July when it was, oh my God, abortion's going to save it for the Democrats.

Here we come. We said, no, this is not how it's going to be polling is a manipulation of voter behavior up until about three weeks or a month ahead of the election.

You'll start to see the polls swing back to the Republicans three weeks to a month before the election. That's exactly what's happening because it never was abortion. It never was Donald Trump. It never was January 6.

It's food prices. It's gas prices. It's supply chain issues. It's the nuts and bolts of what government is is supposed to do efficiently. And they're not doing it. And it was always going to be this.

And the Republicans are going to boat race the Democrats in the US House of Representatives. They're probably going to win the United States Senate. And this is the way it was always going to be.

So this past Sunday, there was the debate, the Senate debate and Tom McDermott released a new ad that he is pushing out across the state. And it is about abortion.

And he really should be hammering away at Todd Young at the $11 trillion in right spending that's contributing to the inflation because that would resonate with every single person.
