And my take today before we get to the interview is this.

And there's a lot of talk about Georgia, obviously, with what they've added through the portal,

them getting over the hump, no pun intended, and winning the national championship.

One, they haven't won since 1980.

But there's a narrative that Kirby's smart until he wins a national championship is Mark rigged. And the numbers just don't suffice that. And I would say to Georgia fans,

I'd be very careful, and I know you're hungry for national championship. I get it. And you

should have won one by now. I totally get it. But I would caution Georgia fans on being too

quick to throw Kirby under the bus if he doesn't win it this year.

And again, I understand the frustration.

But it is going to happen for Kirby Smart.

And the differences I see in Kirby Smart and Mark Rick, not that Mark Rick wasn't a great coach, did great things for Georgia, was successful there outside of winning the whole thing.
