The city of Highland Park, Illinois is in mourning after a shooting during their Fourth of July parade. The death toll rose to seven today, with more than 30 others injured. A state of emergency remains in effect following several days of protests in the wake of the fatal police shooting of 25-year-old Jayland Walker. The killing has sparked outrage after it was revealed that Walker was shot at least 60 times after fleeing a traffic stop. President Biden awarded the Medal of Honor, the Nation's highest honor for recognition of valor, to four men for their time on the Vietnam battlefield. All had received lower-level decorations for their time in combat. But senior military officials decided to upgrade the awards. These stories and more on the CBS Evening News with Norah O'Donnell.
