The dramatic day in court, as 12 Americans are selected to decide the former president's fate in the so-called hush money trial.

A jury of 12 New Yorkers has now been seated for the first criminal prosecution of a former president of the United States.

Seven men and five women have been selected for the trial of Donald Trump,

who's charged with falsifying business records to hide an alleged affair and influence the 2016 presidential election.

One alternate has already been selected, and the court needs five more to begin the case.

The judge said he hopes to have that wrapped up tomorrow.

Now, earlier in the day, the case appeared to be heading in the wrong direction.

That's because two jurors who were already seated were then removed.
