I'm Maurice Dubois.

The government shutdown is about to tie a record.

That'll happen tomorrow when it reaches day 35. And there is no doubt it will happen because Democrats and Republicans are talking at, not with, one another.

A CBS News poll finds Americans blame congressional Republicans and Democrats and the president about equally.

And more than 70 percent are concerned the shutdown will hurt them personally.

It is already hurting the more than 41 million Americans who rely on the supplemental

nutrition assistance program known as SNAP funding for the program.

And it's Saturday.

Today the Trump administration said it has come up with money to at least

partially funded, but it is not clear when the money will show up on EBT cards. Nancy Cordes is at the
