Summary

Over the past few months we’ve been focusing on learning the patterns of the language. In lessons 27-30 we’re going to be constructing phrases within various contexts, using the rules we’ve learned in previous lessons. Lesson 27 focuses on using public transport and you’ll learn to create the phrases you need in these situations. Please note that lesson 27 of Season 2 was originally known as lesson 227 of Coffee Break Spanish. We have renumbered the lessons of each season as lessons 1-40 to make things more simple for our listeners.

This season of Coffee Break Spanish features a total of 40 lessons, all of which will be included in the podcast feed. Just stay subscribed to the podcast to enjoy each episode. 0:27.5	This time, we're moving into the context of public transport, taking buses and trains

0:36.4	This time, what I'd like you to do is learn how to construct the phrases yourself by
0:41.9	using the vocabulary and the grammar that we've covered in previous lessons.

0:59.4	To begin with, la estación, la estación, or in Latin America, la estación, la estación
1:06.9	means the station.
1:09.4	La estación, la estación de autobuses, is the bus station, la estación de autobuses.
1:17.2	La estación de autobuses.
1:19.5	You may also hear la estación de autocares, la estación de autocares.
1:25.1	An un autocar, is a coach, whereas un autobús, is a bus.
1:32.0	Un autobús, for a bus.
1:34.4	And basically, that's a bus that would go within a town from place to place, and autocar
1:39.2	is the one that would go from one town to another, if that makes sense.
