In lesson 18 you'll learn more useful words and phrases for a visit to a restaurant. Please note that lesson 18 of Season 1 was originally known as lesson 118 of Coffee Break Spanish. We have renumbered the lessons of each season as lessons 1-40 to make things more simple for our listeners.

0:23.0	In this lesson, we'll be learning how to cope with that in Spanish, and we'll also be learning
0:28.0	how to deal with complaints. Perhaps your food is cold, perhaps it's not what you ordered.

0:55.0	Are you ready? So the word Lista means ready, but that's the word I used to talk to you.
1:00.0	Lista, you said it's as Listo. Why is that?
1:04.0	Because you're masculine.
1:05.0	Because I'm masculine, yeah, it's the masculine and feminine versions of the adjective.
1:09.0	I'm masculine therefore I would say Listo, and you would say.
1:15.0	Lista.
1:16.0	Very well. Now we're going to use this idea in the first phrase for today's lesson, and that phrase is
1:22.0	Soy Vegetariano.
1:28.0	Soy Vegetariano.
1:32.0	Very well, it's quite tricky to say. Try that syllable by syllable.
