Hello everyone, welcome to Coffee Break French, welcome to Coffee Break French, it's

lesson 50 and in this lesson we are going to be putting Anna to the test about what she's

been learning recently. I'm going to be giving her a bit of a personality quiz I've come

up with some descriptions of famous people and she's got to try and work out who these

people are from my descriptions in French. You can join into it and I hope you enjoy this lesson.

So over the past ten lessons we've really gone back to the very beginning of French. We've

obviously covered lots of vocabulary and phrases in the first 40 lessons of the course,

but in these last ten lessons we've really gone back to the beginning and tried to look at

French in a different way, looking at the grammar, the constructions and trying to build vocabulary

in such a way that you are equipped with the skills that you need to create the language

yourself in a sense to say what you want to rather than repeat some phrase that you've learned

off by heart. So we've looked at verbs, we've looked at regular verbs in the present tense,

we've in particular looked at er verbs. So we took, for example, parlé to speak and we

conjugated it and I can you remember how to conjugate the verb parlé? Yes, I can.

Je parle tu parles. Il parles. Il parles. Nous parlons. Nous parlons. Vous parler. Il parle. Elles parlent.

Très bien. Ok, ce je parle. Tu parle. Il parle. Elles parlent. Nous parlons. Vous parlez.

Yerpar, elpar, and hopefully you are doing your actions along to that verb so that you remember

which part is which I was. I know that probably sounds a little bit sad, but anyway not to worry.

So we looked at present tense of I-R verbs and we also looked at some other verbs. We looked at the verb

allé, allé means to go. So how do you say I-Go?

Je vais.
