In this episode, we continue our “transactional” theme. A very common situation while traveling is having to visit the bank so we take a look at some vocabulary and constructions which could be used in this situation to help explain your money matters!

| 0:26.0 | And lesson 27 is no exception. This time we're visiting the bank in order to change money or to withdraw money. |

| 1:13.0 | So the word itself is argent, er, g-e-n-t, argent. |
| 1:20.0 | If any of you are Latin scholars then you may well recognize the word for silver in there. |
| 1:26.0 | Okay, so l'argent is also in French the word for silver. |
| 1:31.0 | And especially because money, well, anything that you used to buy could be bought with silver. |
| 1:36.0 | So l'argent. |
| 1:38.0 | L'argent. |
| 1:39.0 | Is money and silver. |
| 1:40.0 | And if you want to see some money you would see de l'argent. |
| 1:45.0 | De l'argent. |
| 1:47.0 | Now we're going to come back to that. |
| 1:49.0 | What I'd like to do just now is look at three verbs. |
