| 0:30.0 | We're going to begin by revising or reviewing a phrase that we covered in an earlier lesson. |
| 0:45.0 | And that is the phrase for, I am. |
| 0:47.3 | We learned it in the context of talking about your nationality. |
| 0:51.0 | And today we're going to use that same phrase to talk about our profession or our jobs. |
| 0:56.0 | And I can you remember how you say, I am, for example, I am Scottish. |
| 1:01.7 | Can we do it work? |
| 1:02.9 | I just use eco-seize. |
| 1:04.9 | Ok, I just use eco-seize, and I'm asking, I just use eco-seize in my case. |
| 1:09.5 | So, the je suis part, means I am, je suis. |
| 1:18.8 | Je suis. |
| 1:19.8 | Ok, let's repeat that one more time. |
| 1:21.6 | Je suis. |
| 1:22.6 | Je suis. |
| 1:25.6 | Très bien. |
| 1:26.6 | So, we're going to combine this with the word for various jobs, various professions. |
| 1:32.2 | I could say, for example, je suis professeur. |
| 1:38.8 | Je suis professeur. |
| 1:41.9 | Je suis professeur. |
| 1:44.4 | Ok, now, je suis professeur, means I am a teacher. |
